My name is Charlcie, owner of Rio Paso Web Design. An artist working in various mediums, I consider Web design a facinating art form that satisfies my creative urges every bit as much as when I lay paint to canvas. An ever evolving technological field, Web design holds a facination and a challenge as new criteria unfolds - keeping me on this never-ending adventure.
In addition to my Web design pursuits, I am actively involved in the 4-H Youth Development Program both as a Cooperative Extension employee (currently through Oregon State University) and as a 20-year volunteer. I not only work and volunteer here in Oregon, but also continue to volunteer in Yavapai County, Arizona as Webmaster for the 4-H/FFA EXPO Committee. I am privileged also to have been a contributing member of the Exploring Farm Animals series through the National Cooperative Curriculum Committee.
Being involved in 4-H, it goes without saying that animals, both large and small, have always played a large part in the lives of myself and my family. I began raising rabbits 41 years ago and currently breed and exhibit Satins and Mini Satins. I grew up riding horses - my father keeping up to 37 head at any one time. We had a small swine farrowing operation for 18 years as well as raising turkeys, exhibition poultry and waterfowl. Of course, we have always included in our family, wonderful dogs and cats.
