Consultation, Ordering and Scheduling
The first thing you will need to do it fill out the Intake Form. You can do this now, while visiting this website, or I will send it to you via e-mail. It is important that I receive this information from you because your input will give me more of an idea of the scope of your project and your needs. Knowing what you want enables me to give you a price quote for your project and a tentative start date.

The price quote you receive is based on the scope and complexity of your project and the estimate of the time it will take me to complete it. I arrive at this estimate from the the Intake Form you have filled out and any other information I have collected from you about your project. This is an initial price quote. If after the deposit is made and work is started, you decide to change the scope of your project or add any extra services, you will be billed (usually upon project completion) for any extra time incurred over the initial estimate.

A 50% deposit is due prior to the start of any work. This will seal your place in my queue. The final payment will be due upon project completion before complete control is handed over from me to you. PayPal® is preferred, however I also accept a personal or business check or money order.

After the deposit is made, you will be contacted regarding your project start time. Please be advised this may be anywhere from a few days to a few weeks away depending on my current work load. Designs are completed in the order in which they are received.

Design, Installation and Testing
The design and installation process time is dependent on the scope and complexity of your project. I will work with you and your answers from the Intake Form to create a mock-up of your new website home page, which I will send to you for your suggestions and/or approval. You will not pay the 50% deposit until after you have approved the design. It is very important that, once you have accepted the basic design, you list every change that you wish to be made for your final mock-up so that I can complete the design to your satisfaction.

After the design is complete and approved by you, and you have paid the balance on your invoice, the installation process begins. I will need any pertinent information necessary to install your new design on your hosted space on the web server; i.e., FTP address, username and password, etc.

You will have a chance once the design is installed to list any minor changes you wish to be made. Imagery and layout cannot be changed at this point as that was approved by you in the mock-up stage, however smaller changes may be made such as link and text colors, margins, content additions, etc. Please list all changes, and I will try to implement all of your requests. I will reserve the right to say when you have exhausted my services, so please stay within reason.

Once all final changes have been made and you have approved everything, I will test out your new design. I cannot guarantee my designs will view correctly in every single browser and/or platform - no one can do that. I will do my best to ensure that your new design is functional in the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera, Netscape and Safari for Windows and Mac.

Completion
Once your design is completely installed and everything is to your satisfaction, you assume all responsibility of your site. If after completion you feel you need major revisions or additions to your project, I will update as needed at my hourly rate, unless you have signed up for a pre-paid maintenance plan. Creation of any new artwork or graphic elements will be billed at the current rate.

I want you to know that you can always email if you have questions or need help (within reason). If you need continual help with your website, one of the maintenance plans I offer may be to your advantage.
